POSTER SESSIONS

Scientific Poster Submissions

Share Your Research at FCOM 2026!

Scientific poster submissions are now open for the 30th Annual Florida Combined Otolaryngology Meeting, taking place November 12–15, 2026, at Disney’s Grand Floridian Conference Center in Orlando, Florida.

FCOM invites residents, medical students, audiology students, and advanced practice provider students to submit original research for consideration. Present your work, connect with experienced professionals across the specialty care community, and contribute to the conversations shaping the future of patient care.

Bring Your Research Into the Conversation

The FCOM Poster Sessions showcase emerging research, clinical insights, case studies, quality improvement initiatives, and innovative approaches to care.

Accepted posters will be presented in person during the conference and featured within the FCOM Event Mobile App, giving attendees an opportunity to explore the work throughout the meeting.

New for 2026: Record a virtual Poster Session

Accepted presenters will also have the opportunity to record a brief presentation of their poster via Vumedi. This provides an additional avenue to share and promote your research through Vumedi and the Florida Society of Otolaryngology website and other channel — and a valuable addition to your academic portfolio.

Who May Submit?

Poster submissions are open to:

  • Otolaryngology Residents
  • Medical Students
  • Audiology Students
  • Advanced Practice Provider Students, including PA and APRN students

All accepted presenters must register for FCOM 2026 to participate in the poster session.

How the Submission Process Works

1. Submit Your Abstract

Complete the submission form below with your contact information, academic affiliation, poster title, and abstract.

You do not need to upload your completed poster PDF when submitting your abstract. Submit your abstract as soon as your research is ready for review.

2. Receive Your Acceptance

Your submission will be reviewed by the FCOM team. Acceptance notifications and next steps will be sent by email.

3. Register for FCOM 2026

Accepted presenters must complete their conference registration before participating in the poster session or requesting an eligible travel grant room.

4. Upload Your Completed Poster

Your completed poster PDF must be submitted by October 24, 2026. Instructions for submitting your final file will be included in your acceptance email.

Hotel Room Travel Grants

A limited number of hotel room travel grants are available for eligible in-state presenters.

The first 30 eligible in-state, accepted posters may qualify for one complimentary hotel night at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Rooms are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so early abstract submission, acceptance, and registration are encouraged.

Once your poster has been accepted and you have registered for FCOM 2026, the primary presenter may email support@fcomnow.com to inquire about availability.

Two accepted presenters who plan to room together may combine their individual complimentary nights into a single two-night stay, subject to availability.

Poster Recognition and Awards

Selected poster presenters will have the opportunity to compete for recognition and monetary awards during FCOM 2026.

Additional details regarding award categories and judging criteria will be shared with accepted presenters.
