About Christopher Danner
Dr. Chris Danner is an otologist, neurotologist, and skull base surgeon who has been practicing in Tampa and serving the people of Florida since 2006. He serves alongside two other partners, Drs. Kyle Allen and Loren Bartels, together with a team of audiologists, make up the Tampa Bay Hearing and Balance Center, a division of ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida.
Christopher J Danner MD FACS began his medical career in 1996 when he received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with Honors. After graduating in the top 5% of his class, he completed his postgraduate residency training in otolaryngology (head and neck) surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) – his first choice in residency programs. While serving as chief resident, Dr. Danner was invited to join the faculty at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Dr. Danner completed a two-year subspecialty fellowship in otology, neurotology, and skull base surgery at the University of California San Diego (UCSD), after which he returned to UAMS as an assistant professor serving as faculty in the College of Medicine.
During his time as both a resident and faculty member at UAMS and fellow at UCSD, Dr. Danner was awarded a Distinguished Faculty Award, Faculty Teaching Awards, and A Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his efforts to provide the highest quality of care and numerous research awards.
In 2006 Dr. Danner was recruited to Tampa. Since then he has been serving in a joint capacity as a volunteer clinical professor assisting in the otologic education and training of ENT residents and neurosurgery skull base fellows at the University of South Florida. He continues to be recognized for clinical and academic excellence.
