A board-certified family nurse practitioner, highly skilled in functional medicine, and all things beauty, Marcela began her nursing career as a pediatric nurse in the intensive care unit, where she worked for over 10 years. She graduated with a master’s degree in Family Nurse Practice from Purdue University and chose a different career path as an aesthetic injector and functional medicine practitioner. She has trained all over the country with some of the best injectors and developed a very natural approach to her aesthetic work. She is also our lead functional medicine practitioner. From autoimmune disorders to hormone replacement and peptide therapy she does it all. She focuses on improving quality of life and overall wellness prioritizing her patient’s long-term health plan. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is currently pursuing certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine.
