Mary Grady Walsh was named an Assistant Vice President of Claims in 2021 and currently oversees the primary hospital division along with the Southeast Physician and Surgeon division and Puerto Rico. She has previously overseen the Mid-Atlantic and Southwest Physician and Surgeon divisions. She works collaboratively with Divisional Managers and Claims Consultants throughout the country to manage ongoing litigation. Mary has extensive experience analyzing complex medical and legal issues and brings that experience to the evaluation of claims. She came to MedPro in 2015 after spending 16 years as a trial attorney in Southeast Pennsylvania. In that capacity, she tried 20 cases to verdict and represented hundreds of other practitioners throughout the litigation process. She also argued matters before the PA Superior and Supreme Courts. Mary earned her bachelor’s degree in English and Journalism from James Madison University and her Juris Doctorate from The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 1998, where she represented the school on its National Trial Team.
