Melyssa Hancock

Dr. Melyssa Hancock is a Board-Certified Head and Neck Surgeon and Fellowship-Trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at the Nose and Sinus Institute of Boca Raton since she joined Dr. Nathan E. Nachlas in 2018. She practices the full spectrum of facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, with emphasis on rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty, as well as facial rejuvenation procedures and skin cancer reconstruction. Dr. Hancock is also the medical director of Boca Raton’s newest luxury medical spa, M Spa™ which opened in 2022. She is also an active staff member at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and the Boca Raton Outpatient Laser and Surgery Center and is also a clinical instructor at the Florida Atlantic University School of Medicine. She currently serves as the President-Elect on the Executive Board of the Florida Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Hancock received her undergraduate education at James Madison University in Virginia prior to attending medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She then completed a comprehensive 5-year surgical residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Following the completion of her surgical residency, Dr. Hancock completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. During this year-long period of advanced training, she gained experience in the most innovative non-surgical and surgical techniques. She also served as a clinical instructor of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University Hospital as well as the Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she participated in teaching, resident training, and research.
