Sonya Bloom joined MedPro Group in 2013 and has 39 years of experience in handing complex, high-exposure liability claims. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Allied Legal Services from The University of Central Florida and is a licensed Health Care Risk Manager in Florida, where she resides. She began her career at St. Paul Insurance Company, where she handled medical, dental, sexual molestation, and legal malpractice claims. She then worked as a Director of Major Case Liability, managing and mediating professional liability claims on a national level, including pediatric, psychiatric, physician, nursing, large healthcare systems, and long-term care claims. In addition to her professional claims experience, she was responsible for auditing large SIR hospital accounts throughout the Southeast.
