Dr. Sophia Escobar holds a Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of South Florida. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In 2012, she was awarded Best of 2012 Hearing Healthcare Professionals. Professionally, Dr. Escobar takes on any task presented to her. She currently serves as the Divisional Director of Business Development and Patient Experience at Florida ENT & Allergy. Her interests encompass elevating the patient experience, marketing, continuous learning, practice culture, and collaboration. ​While she was in practice as an audiologist, her role encompassed patients of all ages, to whom she provided compassionate and personalized care.​ Outside of her professional life, Dr. Escobar is happily married to her husband, Nelson, and enjoys spending as much time with their two children who are the light of their lives. She enjoys exercising, reading, and time at the beach. ​ ​
