About Maria Suurna
Maria V. Suurna, MD, FACS, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College. She focuses her clinical practice on the treatment of head and neck disorders, and related surgical procedures, involving the nose and sinuses; parathyroid and thyroid; salivary glands; sleep apnea and snoring; voice and swallowing disorders; and diseases of the ear and hearing loss. Dr. Suurna received her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
