Dr. Tara Mokhtari joins the USF/TGH Head & Neck Oncology program with extensive training and a strong commitment to advancing patient outcomes in complex head and neck cancer care. She earned her medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine and completed residency at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School. Most recently, she completed a prestigious fellowship in advanced head & neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Mokhtari’s clinical practice spans the full spectrum of head and neck oncology, with a focused interest in microvascular reconstruction and transoral robotic surgery.
