FCOM 2026

MECOP

For more than 30 years, MECOP has been an ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education for physicians. As an industry leader, MECOP has been awarded Accreditation with Commendation for two consecutive terms by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).

From exceptional customer service to relationships within the medical community, MECOP provides accessible, meaningful, and practical CME opportunities to improve the quality of healthcare in its partner organizations and their respective communities.

MECOP is dedicated to advancing medical knowledge and improving the quality of healthcare delivery through targeted education. The purpose of our CME program is to enhance the clinical competency, knowledge and performance of our learners, resulting in improved patient outcomes and overall health in the communities they serve.

Formed and accredited in 1986, MECOP was originally designed as a small non-profit organization to accredit CME programs in Northwest Florida and to help physicians meet the relicensure requirements passed by the Florida Board of Medicine.

MECOP’s continued growth and success has allowed it to extend its mission beyond Northwest Florida, with partnerships throughout the US and beyond. The growing network of partnerships has expanded MECOP’s mission as an integral part of health care teams that work to integrate CME as a bridge to quality improvement, practice improvement and improvements in health outcomes.
